The Action Center appears on your homepage and proactively surfaces the top three highest-impact actions you can take to improve your Hotel Trader performance. Rather than requiring you to dig through analytics, it brings the most relevant opportunities directly to you.

In this article:
- Types of recommendations
- Revenue estimates
- Acting on a card
- Why you might not see certain card types
- How often recommendations refresh
Types of recommendations
You'll see up to three cards at a time. Each card belongs to one of three recommendation types:
Corridor recommendations
Suggests a specific travel buyer your property isn't currently connected to. The card shows the buyer name along with average metrics (lead time, length of stay, ADR) based on the last 90 days of bookings across the Hotel Trader portfolio.

Note: Clicking Open Now on a corridor card sends a connection request to the Hotel Trader team — the corridor isn't opened automatically. You'll receive confirmation once it's been actioned.
Availability recommendations
Flags gaps in your availability, rates, or inventory within the next 365 days. Clicking Open Now takes you directly to your ARI calendar or table view so you can resolve the issue.

Promo recommendations
Suggests a targeted promotion based on your property's historical data and Hotel Trader's analysis. Recommendation types include alignment promos, lead time promos, length-of-stay promos, and day-of-week promos.
The promo details are pre-filled — you don't need to build it from scratch. Click Open Now, review the pre-filled settings, and launch when you're ready.

Revenue estimates
Each card includes an estimated revenue uplift and a comparison to your city average, so you can assess the potential impact before acting.
Note: If your property has fewer than 10 bookings in the last 30 days, revenue estimates won't be available. In that case, cards will reference city and regional benchmarks instead of your property-level data.
Acting on a card
Each card has two options:
- Open Now — takes you directly to the relevant workflow (promo creation, ARI view, or buyer connection request)
- Maybe Later — dismisses the card for the current session. It will reappear the next time you visit your homepage
Note: A session ends when you refresh the page or navigate away from and return to the homepage.
If you take no action, the card stays visible until you address it or it expires.
Why you might not see certain card types
Not every card type appears for every property. If there are no suitable corridors to recommend, or your ARI is sufficiently maintained, those card slots are filled with additional promo recommendations or general content cards instead.
How often recommendations refresh
- Corridor recommendations are regenerated every two weeks
- Promo and ARI recommendations update based on your property data
- A recommendation stays visible until you act on it or it expires
