There are two ways to open or close a room for a specific date, which we'll explain below. If you need to make changes to multiple dates at once, please refer to the Edit ARI in Bulk article.
Use the the quick view calendar
- Open the Availability, Rates & Inventory page.
- From the drop-down menu, select the rate plan where you want to change availability.
- Select the room type by either clicking its tab or choosing it from the drop-down menu.

Click a date card to edit its allotment or rate. A detailed panel will open, showing the date's allotment, rate, and all applicable restrictions.
- Update the allotment, rate, and availability values as needed, then click Save changes.
- The changes are applied in real time, and you'll see the following status indicators during the update.
- After the update completes, you'll see the changes reflected on the calendar view. Click Cancel to close the detail panel.
Use the Manage ARI tab to edit availability
- Open the Availability, Rates & Inventory page and navigate to the Manage ARI tab.
- Your previous rate plan selection from the Quick View calendar carries over. If you haven't selected a rate plan yet, choose one from the drop-down menu. Then select the date range you want to view.
- Navigate to the room type for which you want to open or close the availability.
- Click the Availability toggle for the specific date you want to edit.
- Click Save Changes.
- In the confirmation pop-up, click Yes, continue to save your ARI changes.
- After saving the changes, refresh your page to view the updates.
